Northland Entrepreneur Finds Success in Steel Jan 29, 2010 Jason Erickson has been in the steel business as far back as he can remember... working alongside his father. As he got older he decided to branch off and start his own business. "I decided there were better, faster, and cheaper ways of producing structural steel," says Erickson. Erickson opened Dynamic Structural Steel in 2006. The company uses state of the art technology to develop three dimensional models to simulate how steel beams will fit together in a building... and then the beams are fabricated on site. "If it's built in the model properly and perfectly it will be built in the plant properly and perfectly and that means when it goes out into the field it will be build perfectly," says Patrick Contardo with Dynamic Structural Steel.
